2010 SUMMER READING PROGRAM ![]() “MAKE A SPLASH~READ!” June 29th-July 31st Grades K-3 Welcome to the Summer Reading Program! Please Note Changes for this Year! REGISTRATION will begin Tues. June 21st. Children must come in with a Parent to register and pick up the SRP Start-up packet. We are here Tues.-Sat. during regular Library hours (exception Tues/Thurs until 5:30). The first week you may begin coming in to go over your Reading Logs will be the week of June 29th. In your start-up packet you will get one Timed Minute Sheet to keep for the entire program.The sheet is divided into the 5 weeks of the program. For every 10 minutes you read, put a sticker in the ovals. Fill each section to complete a week. You will also have a Reading Log where you can write down your book titles for us to share when you come in. Come in each week and be ready to share something about a book you have read and show us your Minute Sheet. We can just chat, you can draw a picture, bring something or do a short review---whatever you’d like! Each week that you do your Reading and Sharing, you will get a Reward Coupon!! These are prizes given at local stores for you! Reward Coupons will have an expiration date to be used by the end of the program. You may also set a goal of how many books you can read during the program. If you meet that goal, you will earn an extra Bonus! CHANGES FOR THIS YEAR!! You do NOT have to come in every week to earn your coupons! If you are away, at camp, etc. you may choose to work independently and bring in your Reading Sheets when it works for you. You will get coupons for the minutes you have completed whenever you come in. You cannot get coupons once the program has ended. Times to come in to do your Minute Sheet and Reading Logs: Tues/Th/Fri. 9:30-5:30 Wed/Sat. 9:30-12:30 PROGRAM BEGINS JUNE 29TH! By being part of the Summer Reading Program, you can also join the fun for our Activity Days!! ACTIVITY DAYS! Each Wednesday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 we will have a special GROUP activity time for all SRP kids in Grades 1-5! This year there will also be a special activity for the kids who have just finished Kindergarten!! You MUST REGISTER for each activity day you plan to attend. We have some great programs and activities lined up for you!! There is a special sheet at the Children’s Desk to tell you all about each one!! You can register for any or all of them when you sign-up for the Reading Program. PARENTS: Please try to be on time for both drop-off and pick-up so that we may to start on time and to avoid safety issues. WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US FOR ALL THE FUN!!! Tracy

For 3 1/2yrs.-PRE-K Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. FALL SESSION SEPT.9TH-DEC.16th REGISTRATION REQUESTED BEGINNING AUG. 24TH!! ![]() COME JOIN THE FUN!! LAPSIT STORY TIME!
For ages 2–3½ yrs. with their Caregivers Wednesdays at 10:30a.m. FALL SESSION SEPT. 8TH-DEC. 15TH Please note: Children must be 2 by the first day of the session REGISTRATION BEGINS AUG 24TH! ![]() This program is a sharing time
for toddlers and their
caregivers. The books, fingerplays, songs and activities are selected for a toddler’s developmental level. If there are siblings, please try to make child care arrangements so you and your toddler can enjoy this special time together. by the NH state library and requires a password from the Tracy Memorial
Library. Call or email us for your password. Follow the link and scroll
