Registration Circulation Policies Interlibrary Loan Homebound Delivery

Registration

  • All residents of New London are invited to complete an application form to receive a free library card.
  • School-age children are eligible to apply for library cards, completed applications must be signed by a parent.
  • Non-residents are eligible for library cards upon payment of an annual fee.
  • Use of the collection within the building is free and accessible to all.

  • Materials may be renewed two times, if they have not been reserved by another patron
  • Materials may be renewed by phone, call 526-4656, or by email (please include your name and card number in the message) mcarroll@tracylibrary.org
  • Patrons returning materials after the due date are asked to pay fines of $0.10 per day for printed materials and audio books, $0.25 per day for Interlibrary Loan materials, $1.00 per day for videos and DVD's with a maximum fine not to exceed the original cost.

Interlibrary Loan

READS-TO-GO Book Club Kits are everything you need for a book discussion (except the readers!)
Each sturdy canvas bag contains 15 paperback copies of the title (one in Large Print if available), an author biography, discussion questions, a resource list, and a handy sign out sheet!

READS-TO-GO Book Club kits are housed at libraries throughout New Hampshire and may be requested via Interlibrary Loan.
 
Just ask at the circulation desk for a title list and ILL request form! Your Book Group is in the bag!

Tracy Memorial Library participates in the New Hampshire State Automated Information System (NHAIS) and subcribes to the State Interlibrary Loan (ILL) protocol manual. TML will make every effort to lend as well as borrow materials through interlibrary loan.


Homebound Delivery

Tracy Library provides weekly homebound delivery service for patrons who cannot visit the library. This service is available for patrons who are temporarily or permanently homebound.

The NH State Library offers The Talking Books Program to meet the reading needs and interests of New Hampshire residents who are physically unable to see, handle or process printed material comfortably.
