To Place an Order for Pickup:

1. Place your holds online in our catalog, email us at info@tracylibrary.org, or call us at (603) 526-4656 x1.

2. You will receive an email when your hold is ready.  If there is no email associated with your account you will receive a phone call.

3. Call to schedule a pickup time.

4. Arrive for your pickup time, walk up to the pickup cart under the main entry porch, grab your already checked-out items, and go!

Step 1: Request Your Items

You can place holds as before, by logging into your account online, searching/browsing the catalog, and placing your hold request(s).  You can also request items by phone at (603) 526-4656 x1 or via email at info@tracylibrary.org.

We reserve the right to limit quantities and frequency depending on service demand.

Step 2: Wait to Receive Notification That Your Hold is Ready

You will receive an email when your hold is ready.  If there is no email associated with your account you will receive a phone call.

Step 3:  Call to schedule a pickup time.

Step 4: Your Porch Pickup Appointment

We will check out your items, bag them for privacy, and place them on the pickup cart on the main entry porch for you.

Walk up to the pickup cart, grab the bag labeled with your name, and go!

Step 5: Enjoy Your Items

A receipt with return due dates will be inside your bag.  Most items are checked out for 2 weeks and may be renewed once (or twice depending on item type) if there are no holds.

When should I return my items?

The Book Drop is open 24/7 for returns.  Please see your online account for due dates, but do not worry, no fines will accrue.

How will returning items work?

You can return items in the Book Drop anytime.

How can I find out if my holds are ready?

Library staff will call you to let you know your items are ready.  At that time, you may schedule a pickup appointment.

How do I place items on hold?

You can place a hold in our online catalog. Alternatively, you may email us at info@tracylibrary.org, or call us at (603) 526-4656 x1.

Can I request items from other libraries?

Yes, statewide interlibrary loan service has resumed.

Can I request additional items after I get a pickup time?

No, but you can call us to schedule another appointment.

How long will you offer pickup service?

Until further notice. 

What is my account login?
Your login is your library card number – all digits, no spaces.

What if I don’t know my password?
No problem!  Just go to the catalog, click Sign In, and use the Reset My Password/PIN feature. Enter your login or email.  You will be sent a message to the email address on your account with a link to reset your password.
